The Defender confidently defies the tendency of off-road SUVs to underachieve on paved surfaces. The new Range Rover Velar comes with a sleek exterior design that strikes a commanding presence on the open roadways. This compact crossover offers a surprisingly generous amount of interior space. In addition to standard all-wheel drive, the new Range Rover Velar will come with either a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 247 horsepower or a 3.0-liter turbo-six with 395 horsepower. The suspension system does a nice job of controlling body motions and giving you a solid, well-managed ride.
Inside the cabin, the Range Rover Velar is equipped with the same large 11.4-inch curved touch screen infotainment display that's offered by other members of the Land Rover family. The interior design is simple and free of clutter. Nearly everything can be controlled with the Pivi Pro® infotainment touch screen and there's an abundance of cargo room in the back for your carry-on luggage.
The new Land Rover Discovery
The Discovery is a superb off-road machine that offers space for the entire family thanks to three rows of seating and enough capacity for up to seven. The power plant will be either a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 296 horsepower or an inline turbo-six with 355 horsepower. The new Discovery crossover distinguishes itself with the kind of terrain management system that's rare in the segment. It includes protective skid plates, a two-speed transfer case and a height-adjustable air suspension system.
